What courses are available?
We offer more than 5 modular seminars each year. Subject areas include Additive Manufacturing Technology; Materials for additive Manufacturing Technology; Change Management; and Fundamental CAD 3D Design. When are courses offered?
Modul seminars and Training Programs are typically offered quartely each fiscal year, and occasionally other times of the year. Courses are almost always offered once per year. Some of the Courses are taught both in English and German languages. Check our /Seminar and Training page for more information.

Where do the courses take place?
Venue for all our modular seminar courses are indicated in each course description.

How do I know if a course is right for me?
Our seminars vary in their content, teaching methods, level, and approach. Carefully review the /Seminars and Trainings description pages, which include a description of course content, objectives, format (lecture, laboratory work, group work). Who teaches at ADDIT ACADEMY?
Our modular seminars courses are taught by distinguished lecturers who have made significant contributions to their fields – and in some cases invented them. /Seminar and Training descriptions provide additional detail on lecturers.

Can I apply this course to my professional training requirements?
Each seminar is designed to meet our high academic standards. We offer certificates of completion, and also are part of a larger certificate program with our partners. Please /Contact us for more detailed informations.

Should I bring my laptop?
Some seminars do require laptops; for some seminars a tablet will not be sufficient. If a computer is reqruired it will be listed on the seminar webpage. Instructions for connecting to the free wireless network will be communicated to you upon your arrival.

German is not my first language; can I still attend?
Most of our seminars are taught both in English and German. It is up to you to determine your comfort level with the both languages if you wish to attend our /Seminar and Training modular programms.

What if I’ve read the course description and I’m still not sure it is right for me?

You should expect additional information via email from us about 2-3 weeks before your seminar start date notifying you where to go and what time to arrive.

How will I receive information about the course once I’ve applied?
We communicate with participants via email. Once you have applied, please add info@addit3dprinting.com to your “trusted senders” list to ensure you receive all course-related communications. 

What is the application deadline?
It is highly recommended that you apply for a seminar at least 4-6 weeks before the seminar start date.

I can’t attend on the scheduled date. Can I transfer into a different course?
Yes, but transferring an acceptance from one course to another must be approved in advance by us as additional fees may apply. Please /Contact us to request a transfer.

I will be too busy to attend. Can my company send someone else in my place?
Yes, but we must be notified and your substitute must submit an application. Please /Contact us to request a substitution.

I was admitted and have paid, but cannot attend this year. Can I come next year instead?
Admission to a seminar and fees cannot be deferred to a subsequent year; however, you may cancel your registration and reapply the following year. Extra costs apply in this case.

  • Cancellations received more than 42 days prior to the program are subject to a cancellation fee of 250 Euros. 
  • Cancellations received 22-41 days prior to the program are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the seminar fees. 
  • Cancellations received fewer than 22 days prior to the program are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the seminar fees.

How much are the course fees?
Course fees varies by course. Course fees does not include housing and generally do not include any meals. See the /Seminars and Trainings descriptions for the specific seminar fees. Payments are made through bank transfer to our bank account, which will be sent to your email upon registration. Payments must be made within two weeks after registration. 

What does it mean when I’ve been accepted into one of our seminars?
Acceptance means that you have enrolled in a course.

How should I pay?
You can pay with wire transfer. Please note that international wire transfers often include secondary bank fees that you must add to the transaction. In all cases, you will receive a receipt by email once we have confirmed payment.

I need to cancel. Are there any fees?
Yes, we do attach fees should you cancel your participation. The fee increases as the program start date approaches.

  • Cancellations received more than 42 days prior to the program are subject to a cancellation fee of 250 Euros.

They include scientists, engineers, technicians, managers, consultants, product design manager, business owners, undergrauates with technical background, military, government, and academia.
